The famed Millrose Games are taking place tomorrow (Friday) in Madison Square Garden in the heart of Manhattan. This is the 103rd running of the Games, which began when the Millrose Track Club was formed by employees of Wanamaker’s department store with the purpose of forming a meet.
Two several-time Heps champions will be competing with Harvard graduate Becky Christensen looking for a high jump crown and Dartmouth’s Adam Nelson, a two-time Olympic silver medalist, putting the shot. Live coverage will begin on ESPN2 at 8 pm.
Heps Track’s Rich Sands has previewed the meet for TV Guide and will be covering for Track & Field News.
