It was a month ago now, but former Harvard standout Laura Maludzinski — a two-time Heps’ 1,500-meter champion — took fifth in that event at the Canadian National Championships in Toronto, finishing in a personal-best 4:18.14.
A native of Barrie, Ont., and now running for British Columbia Athletics, Maludzinski had posted a career-best 4:16.45 at the Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome Track Classic in July. While video of the final is not online, please check out the video below for her performance in the semifinal.
