We had a great night at the Betty Costanza Endowment Fund Celebration at the R2L Restaurant overlooking downtown Philadelphia earlier in the month. We even posted a story and an iPhone photo.
But thank goodness, I wasn’t the only ‘photographer’ in the house. In fact, there was an professional photog and five-time Heps champion roaming about. Angela Jimenez — who won those titles as a Penn multi-eventer in the mid-1990s — is now a Brooklyn-based freelance documentary/journalism photographer. A regular contributor to the New York Times, she published her first book project — Welcome Home: Building the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival — two years ago.
Jimenez took a ton of images at the Betty Bash and has graciously allowed us to use some here at HepsTrack.com. That is former coach Betty Costanza flanked by Adria and Brian Sheth.

What a view from R2L and Liberty Place.

Cricket Batz shows old track photos to Patricia Melton and myself. Yup, they had a Yalie in their midst.

Julio Piazza tells his 'Betty' stories.

Adria Sheth impersonates her former coach.

And it draws laughs from D. Elton Cochran-Fikes and Steve Bilsky.

Team Betty... one for the ages.

Penn assistant coach Robin Martin was all smiles as night fell.
