Delilah Out At Worlds

I started seeing searches for “Delilah DiCrescenzo stress fracture” on HepsTrack’s Google Analytics on Saturday and here is the reason from the official website of the New Jersey New York Track Club:

After running so well for the 3K steeplechase over the past few months, including a recent 9:40.63 personal best and Olympic A standard, Delilah DiCrescenzo sustained an injury that will cause her to miss the IAAF World Championships at Daegu, South Korea, from August 27 through September 4. Delialh will take a break before returning to training for a spot on the USA Olympic team for the 2012 London Olympics.

So with DiCrescenzo out and Sean Furey missing the A standard in the javelin, Heps has five folks who will be competing in Daegu:

Erison Hurtault, 400m (Columbia, Dominica)
Samyr Laine, triple jump (Harvard, Haiti)
Adam Nelson, shot put (Dartmouth, U.S.)
Lisa Stublic, marathon (Columbia, Croatia)
Morgan Uceny, 1,500m (Cornell, U.S.)
