Will The Headband Return, Too?

We heard from Kyle Merber in the Great Garmin Debate last week, but now comes the back story.

After a sensational sophomore year at Columbia, which included a sub-four mile at The Armory during the Lions’ Last Chance, Merber was poised to take on Dan Chenoweth and Donn Cabral for League supremacy.

But then a freak accident led to an injury that would sideline him for an entire year. In fact, not long ago we were hearing whispers that his competitive career might be over. But that rumor turned out to be unfounded, because here he is training and talking to FloTrack through five miles… with his Garmin.
