Making Way For The Women

Great Scott. Gabrielle Scott — the freshman quarter-miler at Harvard — ran 55.88 in the 400m dash trials and didn’t make the final. But the top three times of the qualifying round all came from fellow freshmen. Brown’s Lauren Waterbury finished in 53.96 followed by Princeton’s Cecilia Barowski (54.69) and Cornell’s Zena Kolliesuah (55.15).

The eight moving forward in the women’s 400 dash: Waterbury, Barowski, Kolliesuah, Miata Morlu (Cornell), Yamira Bell (Cornell), Colby Lubman (Brown), Shannon Conway (Harvard) and Renee McDougall (Penn).
