The USTFCCCA has released its weekly Division I rankings and it is worth noting that among the men’s conferences the Ivy League is ranked seventh behind only the BCS conferences of the SEC, Big XII, Big 10, PAC-12, ACC and Big East. And the Ivies are rather close to the Big East. In fact, Princeton (17) and Cornell (16) each have more regional qualifiers than any Big East team, while Columbia (13) matches that conference leader, Notre Dame.
New proposal for the indoor season. Conference challenge: Heps vs. the Big East. Each conference gets four individuals in a final. Score it like Heps, 10-8-6-4-2-1. Points go to the conference. Rivals become teammates. At least for a day.
Whose got some courage?
