2012 Outdoor All-Americans

The USTFCCCA has announced it All-American honorees from the NCAA Championships this past weekend. ”First-team All-Americans” were athletes who earned team points by placing in the top eight of their respective events. “Second-team All-Americans” were given to athletes who placed ninth through 16th in their given events.  Any other athlete who participated in the NCAA Championships were given the distinction of “honorable mention.”

Eight Ivy Leaguers earned first-team All-American status, led by the championship performances by Princeton’s Donn Cabral and Dartmouth’s Abbey D’Agostino. Seven athletes earned second-team All-American honors and six athletes earned Honorable Mention honors.

First-Team All-America

  • Columbia’s Nadia Eke (eighth — triple jump)
  • Dartmouth’s Abbey D’Agostino (first — 5,000m)
  • Dartmouth’s Alexi Pappas (third — steeplechase)
  • Harvard’s Nico Weiler (fourth — pole vault)
  • Penn’s Maalik Reynolds (sixth — high jump)
  • Princeton’s Donn Cabral (first — steeplechase)
  • Princeton’s Greta Feldman (fifth — 1,500m)
  • Princeton’s Damon McLean (eighth — triple jump)

Second-Team All-America

  • Brown’s Dan Lowry (11th — 5,000m)
  • Cornell’s Montez Blair (14th — high jump)
  • Cornell’s Nick Huber (11th — decathlon)
  • Cornell’s Genna Hartung (13th — steeplechase)
  • Princeton’s Brian Leung (16th — 10k)
  • Princeton’s Joe Stilin (14th — 5,000m)
  • Princeton’s Trevor Van Ackeren (14th — 1,500m)

Honorable Mention

  • Brown’s Erik Berg (1,500m) & Olivia Mickle (10k)
  • Cornell’s Katie Kellner (10,000m)
  • Columbia’s Harry McFann (800m) & Kyle Merber (1,500m)
  • Yale’s Michael Levine (discus)
