The Off-Road King


Cornell graduate Max King has no peer. Over the weekend he:

• Ran nearly 44 miles on trails in two states.
• Logged more than 1,000 miles between the sites.
• Won two national titles.

On Saturday King won the USA 50K Trail Championship near his home in Bend, Ore., and then hopped a flight to Ogden, Utah, where on Sunday he won his fifth straight XTERRA Trail Run title. No one other than King has ever won that event.
