The eyes of the college cross country world — certainly including Heps — will be on adidas Wisconsin Invitational at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wis., Friday (women’s 6k at 1 pm Eastern; men’s 8k at 1:40 pm). Not only will the course be “aflame with color,” about 70 percent of the nation’s ranked teams will be running through it.

Fourteen of the 16 Heps program will be running (Penn is not) as the men’s race will include 21 of the nation’s top 30 teams and the women’s 20 of 30.
