I am making no predictions of the state of the course at Hammonasset Beach State Park on Friday morning. Never been there and I am likely not to attend the NCAA Northeast Regional this week.
What I can say is that the weather in New Haven, 20 miles away from Madison, is crazy right now.
I took the photo above at 7:30 pm as my dog got her final bathroom trip of the night. I am guessing there were five or six inches of snow on the ground at the time and in the two hours since the winds have intensified. Not quite to Hurricane Sandy levels of a week ago, but not far away at times.
And the snow continues. The forecast is snow turning to rain overnight. Just a guess that New Haven will be shut down tomorrow.
Again, no clue what is happening in Madison, but you may want to pack for anything these days.
