Starting Off the Cross Country Season

There are a few guarantees within the month of September – the return of students to campus, the turning of the leaves, and the start of the cross country season.  Like last year, the 2013 Ivy League Cross Country season is expected to be competitive within the conference meets AND on the national scene.  Both Princeton men and Cornell women have been ranked #10 in the national preseason polls, as determined by coaches on USTFCCCA’s website.  Columbia men (#18), Dartmouth men (#29), and Princeton women (#28) have also been included in the USTFCCCA preseason top 30.  If you’re curious on a team-by-team analysis, check out the Wood Report as Isaac Wood has always done a thorough analysis of the national title contenders for the past few years.

Now, please be sure to be available on November 2nd as the 2013 Heps Cross Country Championships will be held at Princeton’s West Windsor Fields for the third year in a row.  NOTE: this is a week later than previous years.  We will share event details on facebook, twitter, and on this website as the information becomes available.  See below the cut for a full composite schedule for all of the Ivy League squads.
