The NCAA Cross Country Championships are this Saturday at the  in Terre Haute, Ind., also known as “Cross Country Town, USA“.  The 10-km men’s race starts at noon ET, and the 6-km women’s race starts at 1:15pm ET.  Races can be viewed on a live feed on NCAA.com.  There is also a live results website available for both races.

A League-record of 7 teams will be competing on Saturday, with an additional four undergrads and two alumni slated to race as well, bringing the total number of Ivy racers to 55 people.  We at HepsTrack wish all of these athletes the best of luck on Saturday.  Brett wrote up a meet preview for ArmoryTrack that lists all individuals and teams in contention for podium finishes.

Planning to attend?  Well, we recommend bundling up – weekend predictions call for a high of 37 degrees and partly sunny.  Feel free to send up updates on what it is like out there.

Flotrack will be holding a live pre-race show on Friday, featuring Ivy alumni Ashley Higginson and Ben True.  We’re not sure what time it will be, but we will let you know when we find out.  Last year, Flotrack got some other surprise guests on the show.

While we wait for the races to start on Saturday, may we recommend a quick read on the history of the LaVern Gibson Championship Course?
