Dartmouth’s Abbey D’Agostino earned herself a third national title from this past weekend.
D’Agostino was declared the National Female Track Athlete of the Year for the 2014 indoor track and field season by the USTFCCCA. She successfully defended her national titles in the 3,000m and 5,000m this past weekend, a feat no other Division I woman has accomplished at NCAAs. She was also the only woman this past weekend to win multiple individual national titles.
USTFCCCA also recognized Oregon frosh Edward Cheserek (Track Athlete of the Year), Duke senior multi-eventer Curtis Beach (Field Male Athlete of the Year), and Georgia freshman multi-eventer Kendell Williams (Field Female Athlete of the Year).
D’Ags has also previously won the National Runner of the Year by the same organization for cross country (2013) and indoor track (2013).
