Ok, I think it is safe to say that winter is behind us (or at least it is where I live, as all of the snow is gone and we are actually having warm sunny days). I hope that I’m not jinxing anything, BUT Outdoor Heps is just a little over a month away so WINTER PLEASE GO AWAY! Can’t you tell I’m tired of snow and cold?
Well, time for sunnier topics.
The Ivy squads will once again be scattered across the country this weekend. Many East Coast distance runners (both undergraduates and alumni) will flock to California for the Stanford Invitational. Some sprinters will venture to Gainesville, Fla. for warmer temperatures and fast times at the Florida Relays. Harvard will be sending a small squad out to Springfield, Mass for the AIC Yellow Jack Invitational. And meanwhile, Princeton will host all of the Ivy schools (plus many more) at their annual Sam Howell Invitational. Schedule and entries are available for Stanford, Florida, and Sam Howell in the links below.
By Sunday, all of the Ivy schools will have competed at least once during this outdoor season.
If you have a FlotrackPro subscription, you will be able to view many of the events at Stanford and Florida. Click on the meet links below for more details.
