Women’s Mile final –

Dartmouth Dana Giordano took the lead from the gun, leading the group in the quarter in 69.1.  Olivia Sadler (Columbia), Molly Renfer (Harvard), and Paige Kouba (Harvard) making the top four and tried to stay with her through the half in 2:20.8.  But by the 3/4 mile mark, Giordano begins to pull away and by the bell, she had a 20 meter lead on Sadler.  Giordano would go on to win her second title of the weekend in 4:36.57

Men’s Mile final –

The men’s mile went off almost at the women’s race pace, in 65.9 for the quarter.  But the pace began to pick up, and by the bell lap, it was a battle between Cornell’s James Gowan, Columbia’s Rob Napolitano, and Yale’s James Randon.  Princeton’s Garrett O’Toole tried to break into the top, but Napolitano managed to pass Gowan in the final 30 meters on the inside lane to claim his first Hep title in 4:06.72.
