USTFCCCA announced their 2015 cross country scholar athletes and teams this past Friday, and like always, there was quite a bit of Ivy League representation on those lists. Nine men and twelve women won individual scholar athlete awards while 14 of the 16 Ivy League teams were given the distinction of All-Academic Teams.
It was also announced on Friday Princeton’s Emily de La Bruyere earned a second award – she was the sole recipent of the 2016 Michel David-Weill Scholarship to pursue a masters degree in international security at the Sciences Po in Paris, France. This award is given to the top American student applicant based on “literacy and scholastic achievements, capacity for critical analysis, demonstrated history of leadership, and proven commitment to the community”.
