Congratulations to the Harvard women and Princeton men on defending their Indoor Heps team titles.  The Crimson women were the favorites going into this meet and they delivered, but not without a fight by host Cornell.  Meanwhile, Princeton executed a perfect Day 2 to pass by host Cornell in the team scoring to defend their team title as the Big Red had both the lead after Day 1 and the most qualifiers for Day 2.  Final scores are below.

The MVP Awards for the 2016 Indoor Heps Championships:

  • Allison Harris of Princeton won the MVP Female Field award for winning the pole vault in a new meet record of 13-07 1/4
  • Corey Muggler of Dartmouth won the MVP Male Field award for winning the long jump with 24-06 1/2
  • Autumne Franklin of Harvard won the MVP Female Track award for being a 4x hurdle champ, 400m champ, and being a member of the winning 4×400 relay
  • Carrington Akosa of Princeton won the MVP Male Track award for defending his 200m title in a new meet record and being the runner up in the 60m dash.
