And They Shall Be Deemed All-Americans

USTFCCCA announced the Outdoor Track All-American honors on Monday, which is based on the athletes’ performance at the NCAA Championships last week.  The top 8 finishers in a given event were awarded First-Team honors, while ninth to 16th place finishers were awarded Second-Team honors.  Essentially if you made it to Eugene, you received at least an “Honorable Mention” honor.

Twelve Ivy undergrads and two alumni earned First-Team honors last week, while another four undergrads and one alum earned Second-Team honors.  The full breakdown is below:

First-Team (top 8 finishers in an event)
– Danielle Barbian (Harvard-Oregon) – 3rd in the 4×100 relay
– Cecilia Barowski (Princeton) – 5th in the 800m
– Jasmine Blocker (Princeton-Tulane) – 7th in the 400m
– Adam Bragg (Princeton) – tied-7th in the pole vault
– Autumne Franklin (Harvard) – 4th in the 400m hurdles
– Dana Giordano (Dartmouth) – 3rd in the 1,500m
– Paige Kouba (Harvard) – 7th in the steeplechase
– Sam Mattis (Penn) – 2nd in the discus
– Nikki Okwelogu (Harvard) – 8th in the shot put
– James Randon (Yale) – 8th in the 1,500m
– Rob Robbins (Cornell) – 8th in the javelin
– Gabrielle Thomas (Harvard) – 3rd in the 200m
– Kaitlin Whitehorn (Dartmouth) – tied-3rd in the high jump
– Rudy Winkler (Cornell) – 2nd in the hammer

Second-Team (9th to 16th place finishers in an event)
– Adam Kelly (Princeton) – 14th in the hammer
– Jordan Mann (Brown-Providence) – 15th in the steeplechase
– Jade Miller (Harvard) – 11th in the 400m hurdles
– Nikki Okwelogu (Harvard) – 10th in the discus
– Natalie Tanner (Columbia) – 15th in the 5,000m

Honorable Mentions (all remaining athletes who qualified for NCAA finals)
– Thomas Awad (Penn) – 22nd in the 5,000m
– Autumne Franklin (Harvard) – 19th in the 4×100 relay, 21st in the 4×400 relay
– James Gowans (Cornell) – 20th in the 1,500m
– Max Hairston (Cornell) – 19th in the 110m hurdles
– Caroline Kellner (Cornell) – 24th in the 10,000m
– Jade Miller (Harvard) – 19th in the 4×100 relay, 21st in the 4×400 relay
– Ngozi Musa (Harvard) – 19th in the 4×100 relay
– Bobby Plummer (Cornell) – 21st in the triple jump
– Christi Scott (Harvard) – 21st in the 4×400 relay
– Gabrielle Thomas (Harvard) – 19th in the 4×100 relay, 21st in the 4×400 relay
– O’Sha Williams (Brown) – 19th in the triple jump
