Two more men get their chance to claim their Team USA berths tonight as they contest in the finals of the discus and steeplechase, while another eight athletes will go through their qualification round in their respective events.

Both Donn Cabral and Sam Mattis are ranked in the top 10 in the world in their respective events. Because there are so many Americans who have met the Olympic standards in their events, these men will need to have a top 3 finish to make it on the Team USA roster.

All three hours of competition today will be televised – 6 to 8pm ET on NBC Sports Network and then 8 to 9 pm ET on NBC.  Schedule below:
