At the St. Louis Games in 1904, Yale’s John Grieb won the League’s first men’s gymnastics medal. Grieb, who competed in four different events, took gold in the gymnastics team event. Trent Dimas, who won gold in the horizontal bars in Barcelona in 1992, would add to the League medal haul when he subsequently entered Columbia as an undergraduate.
